explore femininity and time with a delicate, gentle aesthetic. time through touch is a collaborative and interactive exhibition held at the light box, torquay

through expanded ceramic practice and silversmithing, this project captures the artists’ unique and shared experiences of touch and tactility in their crafts

using porcelain, natural textiles and brass the artists assemble their materials to create layers of textures, movement and intricate forms. signifying the passing of time preserved in the material the sculptures hold moments, dreams, memories and their associated emotions

the artists invite participation from the audience to contribute to sections of their sculptural forms by adding to the weaving with wool, looping with ceramic chains and adorning the sculptures with precious metal. the work will be transformed through collaboration between the artists and the audience
